Professor Lea Waters AM, PhD
Lea is a globally recognised psychologist, researcher, author and speaker in Positive Education and wellbeing science. She is the Founding Director of the Centre for Wellbeing Science at the University of Melbourne and creator of the Visible Wellbeing™ program used in schools worldwide. Author of The Strength Switch, Lea has published extensively on strength-based parenting and teaching. A past President of the International Positive Psychology Association, she was  appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for her contribution to education and youth mental health.

Steve Francis – Dip T, BEd, CSP

Steve is the creator of OPTIMAL Leadership and is recognised by Educator magazine as one of Australia’s Top 50 Most Influential Educators. A former Principal, he understands the real challenges of school leadership. Steve’s Masters research on stress in schools inspired the Happy School program, now used by many schools nationally to support staff wellbeing. More recently, Steve launched School Leadership Sprints to help leadership teams gain clarity and alignment. Steve brings energy, insight, and practical strategies that empower leaders to thrive while achieving work–life satisfaction.

Susan McLean – Cyber Safety Solutions

Susan is Australia’s leading expert in cyber safety and young people’s online behaviour. Founder of Cyber Safety Solutions and a former Victoria Police officer, she works with schools, government, and organisations to address issues such as cyberbullying, sexting, online grooming, and digital reputation.

A sought-after speaker and media commentator, Susan will deliver practical advice that empowers school leaders to navigate the challenges relating to the digital world.
